Thank you so much for your consideration. I'm am only bringing this to your attention as a fellow neighbor of Oak Hill. While, I AM a board member of Poricy Park, I joined this year strictly to be a productive member and to serve the Middletown community. That is why I am reaching out to my fellow neighbors and local clubs in the Middletown area.
Poricy Park started with 11 Citizens of Oak Hill in the 70's. Those people had a grass root campaign to stop the land from being turn in to a sewage plant. One of those original people, Pete wrote a book about the whole process. He just passed away several months ago but was still a resident of Oak Hill.
The Moms Club North and the Moms Club South are contributing items for the donation list.
They are holding a Trunk or Treat and having a pizza party in the activity center and all participants are brining a donation.
The Middletown Newcomer's Club took us on as their charity for the year. They will be holding a yard sale and various other fundraiser's through-out the year.
We are meeting with their board to tour the property and would gladly extend the invitation to your board as well.
Thanks again for any help. I look forward to hearing more Oak Hill updates and making one of the Oak Hill Association events this year.
Sincerely,
Terri Vilardi
